Welcome to

the website about the Electro-Thermography

I am happy to welcome you to my homepage

On the following pages I would like to present you the basics, informations, samples and pictures of electro thermography. Thermography is at present the most elegant, efficient and powerful as well as fascinating possibility to find out surface temperatures and can be seen as epitome of an exact system for asset conserving measurement even in future.

Since the 1960's electrical systems successfully thermographed with infrared cameras,

mainly the power supply and distribution like high- and middle voltage, transformators etc. during ongoing operation. Although electrotechnology can be seen as origin of commercial use of infrared technique it took years to enter the common market.

Electro thermography can and will be used as an extra measuring instrument for classic inspections. Especially in modern installations detailed views are possible.

Electro thermography is understood as a preventing service. That means, it will be used before damage or failure occurs, to find out weak points in time.

A regularly thermographically checked electric system is a contribution to a higher availability and therefore means lower costs for maintenance and service.

As a positive side effect the planning safety for the user will be highly increased.

The motto “electrical systems seen with other eyes” allows a different outlook on and in systems and operating lines of electro technique. In times of raising costs it is thoughtlessness not to use the technical possibilities of thermography and to risk a total failure. The use of thermography always pays sooner or later, that shows the high disposals of power suppliers who have a far better use of their power nets by the IR-technique nowadays.  Have fun with the thermography check homepage.
